Deal between Idea and Huawei

Recent reports have revealed that there has been the launch of a new series of 3G Android Smartphones by Idea cellular firm. This is as an effort to lure the 2G customers towards the area of 3G.
There has been a deal struck between Huawei and Idea. This is for outsourcing the 2.8 inch screen phone which will have all the Smartphone features in it. The price of the same is going to be Rs. 5850. Another phone in the same lineup is going to be from Blade, and its going to be a 3.5 inch touch screen, which is going to bear a price tag of Rs. 7, 992.
"These smartphones will further drive our existing 3G services. Users will now be able to access the Internet through these devices. We are also studying if we should enter the 3G tablet market. But it hasn't been decided upon yet", revealed Himanshu Kapania, from Idea Cellular.

He did not reveal though, any particular time frame for them entering the 3G Smartphone market. He further added that their main aim is to be able to provide a host of features in their phones, and that too at affordable prices. This would tend to make people come to terms with the best features, and they will have to pay minimal prices for the same.
It's a matter of time to see what the people have to say about these new feature packed and effectively priced phones, and whether they like them over the high end and costly versions or not. It will lead to a lot of shift in the telecom market, and might tend to highlight the manufacturing companies as well.
