We’ve been following the TouchPad firesale trail for a long time. After HP decided to axe their tablet business, the remainder of the TouchPads were being sold online for ridiculously low prices. The lowest model TouchPad was being sold at $100. The first few batches of low-priced TouchPads went flying off the shelves. CyanogenMod has even managed to get Android running in and users have been modding their tablets to run Android, instead of WebOS. TechCrunch have got their hands on a mail, addressed to HP’s employees stating that the TouchPads are returning this Sunday to the HP eBay store. There’s no official announcement or any confirmed number of tablets being sold, as of now. Only tablets can be bought by each eBay user and there will only be a 3-month warranty on the two models - 16GB and 32GB being sold. There are no discounts being offered to HP employees and all tablets being sold on eBay are being sold on first-come basis. Users can also choose to buy a $79 bundle, which includes a case, a charging dock and a wireless keyboard. eBay India offers users the option to order products from internal merchants, so it might be worth keeping your eyes peeled this Sunday. |
