LG Xnote Z330 Vs MacBook Air: Z330 is thinner and lighter

LG has announced a new Ultrabook dubbed Xnote Z330. The feature-rich LG notebook will give tough fight to Apple MacBook Air and a line of new Windows 7 Ultrabook from Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo, Asus and others.
The Ultrabook market is becoming more competitive with lots of outstanding products. LG Xnote Z330 is now the latest one. The Korean electronics firm has described its Ultrabook as the thinnest ever in the world. The machine will have a 13.3-inch HD LED display; it will be powered either by a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 or 1.7GHz Core i7 processor and 4GB of RAM. The Windows 7 Ultrabook highlights Rapid Start Technology that boots up the system in less than 10 seconds.
The LG Ultrabook comes with the dimensions of 315 x 215 x 14.7mm and a weight of just 1.2kg. Of course, 14.7mm thickness makes the device one of the thinnest notebooks in the world. You have two flash memory options; a 120GB and 256GB SSD with LG Xnote Z330. For connectivity, the notebook will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroSD, USB 3 port, HDMI out and others. Meanwhile, LG has not divulged anything about its possible release date and pricing. Maybe, it will realize early next year raising hard challenge to its rivals from Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo and Apple.
LG Xnote Z330 Vs MacBook Air 13:

Like all other firms, LG also wants its Xnote Z330 Ultrabook to compete with Apple MacBook Air. The 13-inch MacBook Air may certainly face some serious threat from the new LG Ultrabook. Here is a succinct comparison between Xnote Z330 and MacBook Air.
Display: Both Xnote Z330 and MacBook Air have 13.3-inch displays. When the former has a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the latter has a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, which makes it a clear winner over Xnote Z330.
Processing: LG Xnote Z330 is equipped with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors respectively with a clocking speed of 1.6GHz and a 1.7GHz. Meanwhile, MacBook Air 13-inch has 1.7GHz (i5-2557M) and 1.8 GHz (i7-2677M) Core i7 processors. Both notebooks have 4GB of RAM. In fact, in processing speed, MacBook Air slightly wins over LG Xnote.
Dimensions: Apple MacBook Air measures 325 x 227 x 17mm. Here the LG Ultrabook wins with the dimensions of 315 x 215 x 14.7mm and a weight of just 1.2kg compared to 1.34 kg of MacBook Air.
Connectivity: MacBook Air 13 features two USB 2.0 ports, one 3.5 mm headphone jack, one Thunderbolt port, one SD card slot and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity. LG Xnote Z330 features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroSD, USB 3 port, HDMI out for connectivity. Yes, the LG notebook misses the high speed data transfer method from Intel, Thunderbolt, which is not yet up on Windows computers.

Winner:
Apple MacBook Air stands out against its upcoming LG rival with a better screen resolution and processor clocking speed. Meanwhile, the device is larger and heavier than Xnote Z330. So being an Ultrabook, an Intel standard for notebooks with its Sandy Bridge processors and weight below 3 pounds, Xnote Z330 will be the best pick for customers. The LG notebook has better connectivity options and it has Windows 7, slight size and thin body.

What others say?

Well, that other choice is now here.”
